I’m a better educator today because of the people I’ve learned from and leaned on along the way.
Every conversation with a colleague, every honest exchange about what really happens in the classroom, has shaped my practice more than any textbook ever could. Talking about classroom management, sharing creative ideas, and even laughing together about the chaos of teaching has pushed me to grow in ways I never expected.
When I’ve opened up about the hard days, others have reminded me I’m not alone. When I’ve celebrated the wins, big or small, I’ve been met with genuine joy from peers who understand what those moments mean. These connections have been my greatest teachers.
That’s why The Educator Experience exists. To carry that same spirit forward. It’s a space where voices matter, where we lift each other up, and where the strength of community makes all of us better educators.
And every resource we create is rooted in those conversations. Our courses, tools, and guides come directly from listening to our growing community—what they wish they’d known when they started, and what they feel they need now to be the best educators they can be.
I’m not doing this alone. Behind The Educator Experience is an incredible team of educators and researchers from across Canada who bring their own voices, stories, and expertise to everything we build. They’ve walked the same hallways, faced the same challenges, and carry the same passion for helping others thrive. Together, we can create a space that celebrates the voices of higher education.

LAND ACKNOWLEDGEMENT:
At The Educator Experience, we acknowledge that our team lives, learns, and works on the traditional, ancestral, and unceded territories of many diverse Indigenous Nations across what is now called Canada. We honour the enduring presence, wisdom, and stewardship of First Nations, Inuit, and Métis Peoples, whose relationships with these lands continue to this day. We recognize the ongoing impacts of colonialism and the responsibilities we carry as educators and community members to engage in truth, reconciliation, and meaningful action. We are committed to listening, learning, and showing up with humility and respect.
